Description
A new Regional Journalism Center (RJC) – covering the issues of the Mountain West – is seeking a Managing Editor to lead a team of 6 reporters across 5 states. With seed funding from CPB, this is a partnership of six public radio stations: KUNC in northern Colorado, KUER in Utah, Boise State Public Radio in Idaho, KRCC in southern Colorado, Yellowstone Public Radio in Montana, and Wyoming Public Radio. The Managing Editor assigns, edits, and guides the editorial process for the RJC. The ideal candidate must be committed to strengthening editorial partnerships, both across the region and with public radio distributors nationally. This position is based at Boise State Public Radio, in beautiful Boise, Idaho, with 200 miles of trails in the foothills above the city, a vibrant downtown scene, and access to 33-million acres of public lands.
