Description

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding and compliance with FCC rules as related to live radio broadcasting
• Ensuring the highest quality on-air sound
• Creatively filling breaks with development, news, programming promotions and other updates to listeners
• Live announcing while multitasking, including monitoring for breaking news, answering studio calls and screening calls for local live hosts as needed
• Communicate with traffic operations professional and news director as needed
• Check studio communications throughout shift (Slack, email, phone)

This is a Temporary Exempt (TEX) appointment type.

This is an as-needed position reporting to Philip & Sala Burton High School in San Francisco.
