GET INVOLVED IN THIS COLLABORATIVE ENGAGEMENT AND REVENUE EVENT

Prepare for this two-day event in May designed to engage new and existing donors and raise new revenue.

On May 1 and 2 of this year, public media stations across the country will join together to spread the word about what public media means to our communities and how audiences can show their support.

This two-day, digital-first event is called Public Media Giving Days, and is a collaboration between Greater Public, CDP, NPR and PBS. Public Media Giving Days will expand conversations between public media stations and their communities, offer a new way for stations to raise revenue, engage new and existing donors, and increase station brand awareness in local communities. Think Giving Tuesday, but just for public media stations.

Greater Public will offer Roundtable discussions for station staff to connect with colleagues to maximize success in advance of the event. We are also hosting an information webinar, Getting Ready for Public Media Giving Days, to help stations prepare for the event.

Upcoming Roundtables

Roundtables are led by a facilitator and designed to be a small group discussion, so be prepared to turn on your camera and discuss your station’s opportunities and challenges.
