Associate Director, Online Fundraising
Arlington, VA
WETA, DC’s public broadcasting station, is seeking an Associate Director, Online Fundraising. This individual will manage and oversee growth of the online fundraising and engagement program by executing effective strategies and techniques via email, website promotions, and other digital channels. Primary duties include leading digital fundraising and engagement initiatives to acquire, renew and retain WETA members while liaising with strategy and software partners to manage execution of fundraising best practices. Qualified applicants should have knowledge of and proven ability to manage direct response fundraising program effort, with strong experience in email and digital marketing tools and techniques. They should be able to develop and implement digital fundraising strategies and demonstrate excellence in writing and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have experience in Photoshop, web design and HTML. Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising or online marketing, and/or college degree in marketing, public relations or a related field, along with demonstrated effort of continuing fundraising education.
