PBS NewsHour is seeking an Associate Producer, Archives who will edit and prepare material from PBS NewsHour and NewsHour Productions for sale to outside clients. Primary responsibilities include utilizing desktop editing systems, identifying segments for potential ancillary sale, working with public relations and development staff to produce promotional and grant compliance videos, and contributing to scripts and production of videos, tributes, and “sizzle reels” for use in promotion. Further, the Associate Producer will make dubs of programs and material for clients, and work as part of a business development team to grow the Archives’ product set and revenues. Three (3) years of video editing experience, and newsroom experience and excellent news judgment.
