Current seeks a skilled communicator, detail-oriented manager and driven self-starter to lead our subscription program and individual donation program.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing subscription revenue by marketing and selling individual and enterprise-wide subscriptions. The Business Development Manager extracts and analyzes user data from Current’s paywall, and crafts and implements marketing campaigns and special offers to nonsubscribers and lapsed/expired subscribers. Business Development Manager initiates and maintains contact with institutional prospects and subscribers in order to sell subscriptions and upsell them to the highest subscription level. Business Development Manager designs and implements donor fundraising campaign. Business Development Manager develops and implements ideas for building subscriber/donor loyalty and revenues. Business Development Manager reports to the Executive Director.
Current is based at American University in Washington D.C. This position is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S.
