Job Summary

Reporting to both the Director of Development and Director of Corporate Support, you will work with team members to support our fundraising programs.  Your core focus is managing our fundraising databases to ensure data integrity, provide intelligent reporting and initiate process improvement.  We are looking for someone who can be successful with big picture concepts and who also likes details.  You are familiar with and appreciate the values and mission of Michigan Radio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop routine and new reports using fundraising and customer-relationship management databases (Donor & Alumni Relationship Tool, Blackbaud, Allegiance and Salesforce)
  • Lead data integrity audits
  • Develop and manage queries for data extraction and integration
  • Initiate projects and develop sustainable improvements that ensure data quality and integrity
  • Use your natural curiosity to ask the right questions in gathering requirements, analyzing the impact and developing creative solutions
  • Train team members in areas affecting data integrity and reporting
  • Collaborate and build relationships with clients ensuring their needs are identified and supported
  • Work with the finance team to reconcile and audit donations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • 2+ years of intermediate experience managing relational databases and applying data assurance best practices
  • 2+ years of experience with data manipulation tools such as spreadsheets (can write advanced macros), import/export tools and scripts
  • Intermediate knowledge of writing SQL data queries
  • Passion for our mission

Salary Range:   $50k-$58k
