North Carolina Public Radio WUNC is hiring a Corporate Support Manager.
WUNC-FM’s corporate support program accounts for almost 3 million of the annual operating budget. Corporate support has the responsibility for identification, coordination and management of WUNC-FM’s approaches to corporations, businesses and organizations for the purposes of soliciting underwriting sponsorships. WUNC is headquartered in the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) of North Carolina. It’s often rated among the top areas to live in the country. The ocean and mountains are just a few hours away. North Carolina Public Radio serves more than 375,000 listeners weekly and was ranked Number 1 in the Raleigh Metro Market for adults 25+ in 2018. WUNC-FM’s Corporate Support Manager manages and works with a team of Corporate Support Associates to identify, cultivate and manage relationships with local, regional and national corporations, businesses and organizations for the purposes of soliciting underwriting sponsorships. The Corporate Support Manager to report to Development Director.
The ideal candidate will have experience working at a CPB-qualified NPR-member public radio station as well as a Bachelor’s Degree, 5 year’s sales experience and 3 year’s sales management and supervisory experience.
Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree and two years broadcast or media sales management experience required.
