Description
One of the most unique public radio stations in the country seeks a highly-motivated, fun-loving, enthusiastic Development Director willing to take risks and drive success! C895 programs electronic dance music for the Puget Sound region and is heard around the world at c895.org.
Reporting to the General Manager, our Development Director is in charge of all individual giving activities including on-air campaigns, direct-mail, major giving, planned giving and all donor communications.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Create and execute innovative approaches to fundraising and donor communications
- Demonstrate fundraising success as part of a small staff of dedicated individuals
- Are passionate for public media… love of dance music a definite plus
- Enjoy being part of an open office filled with creative professionals who don’t fit the mold of a ‘typical’ public radio station
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five (5) years of professional fundraising experience, public radio preferred
- Proven track record of fundraising success
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills
