Under the direction of the Operations Director, the Digital Content & Podcast Producer/Operations Coordinator is responsible for producing, curating and updating content at the KCLU.ORG website and associated social media platforms. The incumbent also creates and produces podcasts. Serves as a backup to the Operations Director.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Creates, produces and edits online digital content and podcasts on a daily basis for KCLU.ORG E

Creates, produces and edits podcasts. E

Creates, produces and edits content on a daily basis for KCLU social media platforms. E

Provides digital content support to station colleagues as needed. E

Provides digital content and broadcast support during nighttime, holiday and weekend news emergencies. E

Serves as liaison with key content and technical partners, i.e., NPR Digital Services, Public Media Apps and institutional Information Technology Services (ITS) department. E

Trains new staff in use of KCLU.ORG Content Management System. E

Provides backup coverage for daily station operations including creation of daily
program log in station traffic software, updating interstitial content in Enco automation and audio storage system, producing underwriting spots, updating PRSS Content Depot as needed, producing daily program promos. E

Participates in and supports on-air fundraising. E

May serve as a fill-in host and newscaster in NPR News magazine programs.
