Director of Integrated Fundraising

UNC-TV, Public Media North Carolina, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Integrated Fundraising to join its development organization in a mission-critical and highly visible leadership role. This Director generates the largest percentage of annual funds raised by UNC-TV. The ideal candidate for this position will bring a holistic, strategic, and visionary approach to using analytics, data, operational excellence, and technology to drive the organization’s fundraising efforts. The Director should be passionate about using data to drive critical fundraising decisions and devise solutions to unstructured business problems. They will be excited about identifying ways to not only participate in but also capitalize on opportunities arising from the network’s ongoing rebranding initiatives. This highly visible player-coach should enjoy collaborating with colleagues, motivating and developing a high potential team, and serving as a trusted, creative, and proactive advisor to the Chief Growth Officer.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight to ten years of proven, measurable success in multiple facets of direct response (digital, on-air and/or mail) fundraising and donor acquisition, and an advanced knowledge of current and effective direct response marketing techniques and best practices. This role represents an opportunity to blend technical analysis with business intuition in a fun and creative environment.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment and at least ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. At least five years demonstrated successful management experience is required.
