Description
WNRN is looking for our next Events and Promotions Manager. This position is responsible for the planning and execution of member and listener events, small- and large-scale promotions at concerts, festivals and community activities including recruitment and coordination of volunteer staffing. This position is the primary contact for the station’s annual involvement in the Red Wing Roots Music Festival and is responsible for on-site execution of the running of the beer garden and the enter-to-win promotion the station conducts during the festival. Works with the programming and underwriting staff to identify and choose activities best suited to promoting the station and client-based promotions. Oversees the work of the Digital and Social Media Specialist.
Required qualifications include proven track record of successfully managing events and volunteers, experience with promotions, ability to build external professional relationships, knowledge of social media platforms, ability to travel occasionally for offsite events, Preferred experience using Adobe Creative suites.
