Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Fundraising Manager.

About the Position:

As part of the Membership leadership team, in collaboration with the Membership Director, the Fundraising Manager develops and executes integrated, multi-channel donor acquisition, retention, and upgrade strategies using mail, email, telemarketing, web, social, search, and audio messaging channels. Composes distinct fundraising strategies for CPR, KRCC and Denverite and actively measures and analyzes direct response results for the development of subsequent strategies. You manage a team of direct reports and vendors who collaborate on a robust suite of direct response fundraising campaigns including acquisition, renewal, additional gift appeal, lapsed efforts, and sustainer conversion and/or upgrade and manage and monitor expense budgets related to the direct marketing program.

You are an innovative, experienced fundraising leader with the proven ability to orchestrate strategic communications for multiple audiences using best practices in direct mail, email, social media, telemarketing and other communication channels. You’re able to plan strategically with a global vision that is in alignment with the organization’s development and strategic goals. You’re a dedicated and effective manager of people and vendor relationships. You can write with clarity and have demonstrated experience crafting messaging that connects and compels people to support mission-driven news and music programming.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years direct response fundraising experience is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years leading and managing a team is required.
  • Proven ability to orchestrate strategic mass communications for multiple segments and audiences using best practices in direct mail, email, social media, telemarketing and other communication channels is required.
  • Ability to plan strategically with a global vision that is in alignment with the goals of the Development Department and overall strategic goals of the organization is required.
  • Proven analytical skills to uncover opportunities and greater efficiencies is required.
  • Experience working in Salesforce or similar CRM and an in-depth understanding of email marketing systems is required. Pardot experience is highly desirable.

Education Equivalency:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

Position Type: Full Time

Hiring Range: $80,500 – $107,300.

Structure Title: Manager, Fundraising

Starting Pay: based on education and experience.
