Overview:      

This Fundraising Systems Manager is responsible for systems and applications that support NHPR’s Development department, including the constituent relationship management system, Raisers Edge (RE) and Luminate Online (LO). He or she is responsible for queries, reporting, and data integrity, and collaborates with other team members to meet membership revenue goals.  This is a full-time position reporting to the Membership Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver reports and queries and analyze data to facilitate fundraising decision making and activities.
  • Manage lists for direct mail, email, telemarketing, and other campaigns.
  • Develop best practices for database management and document processes. Identify and implement efficiencies in the database.
  • Ensure integrity of data and effective use of systems, including providing staff training, documentation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Manage Development Assistant, Gift Processing to process contributions from incoming mail, lockbox, and other sources, and assist with processing contributions as needed.
  • Establish business rules and procedures for RE, LO, and other systems.
  • Make recommendations to management for improvements to fundraising systems. Manage updates and conversions as needed.
  • Manage pledge free stream during fund drives.
  • Serve as primary contact with Blackbaud and other vendors as needed.
  • Enforce policies set by Finance to ensure than handling and storage of member financial information is PCI compliant.
  • Provide fiscal year end membership revenue reconciliation and audit support to Finance.
  • Participate in on-air fundraising campaigns as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in managing fundraising systems.
  • Experience working with fundraising systems (Raiser’s Edge and Luminate preferred).
  • High level Excel user.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Performs with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
