Description
KPBS, a service of San Diego State University and a distinguished public radio and television licensee, invites candidates for the position of General Manager.
KPBS has a well-deserved reputation as a trusted source of news, entertainment and information. The organization is committed to core values of integrity, truth, diversity and quality. The General Manager will be responsible for the overall vision, strategic initiatives, budget, management, reputation and success of KPBS and must demonstrate a commitment to leading a successful and respected public media service.
The equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, a minimum of seven years of increasingly responsible leadership experiences, and experience with strategic and financial planning and fundraising are required.
