Description
Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Junior Administrator and Technical Support Specialist.
About the Position:
The Junior Administrator and Technical Support Specialist assists with CPR’s information technology systems, including servers, workstations, security and networking to maintain maximum uptime of technology infrastructure. This position provides technical support to end users with desktop, laptop, telecommunications, network, printing, application and server problems. This position is also responsible for maintaining an equipment inventory, assisting with legal compliance of all workstation and software licensing, and serving as a backup for the help desk technician when that person is unavailable.

You prioritize your time well, are analytical, and are motivated to learn new systems and tools to help create better efficiencies for end users.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years of technical support related experience
- Detailed knowledge of and ability to efficiently use computer hardware, Windows operating systems and applications, networking, Google workspaces.
- Basic knowledge of and ability to efficiently use MacOS operating systems and applications, Linux operating systems and applications, and laser printers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solving, time and prioritization skills
- Ability to lift 25 – 50 lbs
Education Equivalency:
- Bachelor’s degree or CompTIA A+ certification and Network+ certification, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

Hiring Range: $30.90 – $41.20
Starting Pay: based on education and experience.
