Summary

As CapRadio’s Member Engagement Associate you will be part of the Member Engagement team, which strives to strengthen members’ passion for sustaining public radio. You play a significant role in ensuring accurate financial accounting of gifts made to the station, maintaining member records, and providing an important communications link between CapRadio and its members.

Position responsibilities will shift on occasion, but largely include:

• Receive inbound calls from members and listeners. Receiving inbound calls from members and listeners.
• Responding to emails from members and listeners.
• Donation data entry into member database.
• Care with donor data security.
• Outbound calls to members as directed.
• Supervision of office volunteer staff on occasion.
• Participation in thank you gift fulfillment periodically.
• Mail merges, printing and distribution of thank you letters; regularly or occasionally.
• Involvement with mass email projects.
• Assistance with reception work during the receptionist’s lunch break.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Must be familiar with CapRadio and comfortable asking individuals for financial contributions for CapRadio’s mission.
• Be part of a team managing member data in a donor database.
• Must be able to address customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.
• Must be comfortable making calls to donors.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Raiser’s Edge experience, or similar database experience.
• Strong team player.
