Description
The Membership Department for WTIU and WFIU, IU’s public television and radio stations, is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual who has an interest in public media and a strong desire to provide top notch customer service to join our team.
The Member Services Coordinator (Stewardship Coordinator) ensures accurate recording of donation information used for fundraising reporting and donor communications, and serves as a frontline customer service representative to WTIU and WFIU members, viewers and listeners—creating a positive experience through every interaction to deepen member relations. Main responsibilities of the position include the daily processing of donations, addressing member and audience inquiries, oversight of office inventory, fulfillment of donor thank you gifts, and other administrative duties. This position also assists with the stations’ membership campaigns and fundraising mailings.

Note: This position requires ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
- 2 years of experience in fundraising, sales, a higher education foundation, administrative, or a related field.
SKILLS
- Proficient communication skills.
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism.
- Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills.
- Demonstrates a high commitment to quality.
- Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
