Description

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of two years experience in business development, public relations, marketing, fundraising or related areas.
Experience working for a non-profit, particularly in public radio media.
Minimum of two years experience working with a membership database or CRM software, such as Enterprise by Access International, Blackbaud or eTapestry.
Web development experience, preferred.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service in-person and by telephone.
Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, both orally and in writing, at a high level.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with an ability to work independently.
Ability to handle secure information while maintaining confidentiality.

Work Schedule: Twelve-Months (261 days)
Hours to Work: 8 hours a Day

Salary Range: $50,000 – $55,000 / Per Year

Responsibilites:
Coordinate all aspects of direct mail fundraising, including writing letters, working with third-party vendors, and tracking success of campaigns.
Coordinate all aspects of on-air pledge drives, including scheduling, writing scripts, organizing audio elements, tracking pledges, and training volunteers and staff.
Maintain the membership database, working with reporting, reconciliation, executing queries, managing source codes, and importing data.
Oversee data entry and other day-to-day membership work done by membership assistant, volunteers, and other staff.
Oversee all donor communication, including thank you letters and tax receipts, pledge reminders, donor inquiries, email newsletters, and print newsletters.
Oversee process to contact donors regarding status of payments.
Plan and oversee all listener and donor events.
Maintain inventory of membership supplies including paper, envelopes, and MemberCards.
Report membership progress to management and to the KIOS board.
Assist with updates to the KIOS website and social media pages.
Serve as backup for time reporting and requisitions.
