Job Summary: The Membership Representative position supports all details related to customer service for WUCF donors. In addition, this role supports and coordinates all activities related to membership pledge drives for TV and FM.
Duties include:
- Manage all member and audience inquiries and concerns (via telephone, mail and email).
- Execute acknowledgment activities (if not handled by the Member Services Bureau – MSB).
- Assist teams with campaign creation as necessary.
- Communicate to donors regarding the status of premium fulfillment.
- Interaction with MSB will include: Case submission via NGO Connect database for technical issues and operational activities. (Must have a strong understanding of NGOC).
- Communicate issues with premiums and fulfillment (including product delays.)
- Oversee On-Air fundraising spots.
- Create scripts for On-Air fundraising when appropriate.
- Oversee the production of development spots (renewals, sustainers, auto donations, etc.)
- Review On-Air fundraising schedule.
- Interaction with MSB will include: On-going communication with Digital Marketing team in support of On-Air drives.
- Assist on-air talent, producers, directors, other crew members and production volunteers regarding pledge broadcast.
- In conjunction with director of development, assist with the scheduling of pledge drive agendas and all related activities (including pre-tapes, premium shoots and roll in spot production) and ticket offers at the national and local level.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred experience with PBS pledge for a minimum of 5 years.
- Preferred experience with television production and script writing.
- Experience with coordinating multi-level project coordination.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office suites and database software.
Annual Salary: Negotiable
