Description
KOSU seeks a membership specialist to provide backend support to serve a growing base of donors. The primary duties of this position are to manage donor data and relationships and provide relevant administrative support. This includes but is not limited to updating records, reviewing data, gift processing and reconciliation. Development staff will depend on this person to make recommendations for process improvements to improve efficiency and donor satisfaction. Other duties will include support and planning for on-air membership drives and donor cultivation events and research related to major giving.
KOSU is a vibrant and growing community-centered organization dedicated to providing critical news and information to the Oklahoma community and celebrating the state’s emerging musicians and artists. This position is critical to helping to grow that community service.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and knowledge.
Familiarity with public radio.
Knowledge of database systems.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organization.
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere, flexibility to change tasks quickly and manage time effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to display compassion, professionalism, enthusiasm and cheerfulness with even the most challenging callers.
