Morning Edition Host/Journalist
Reno Public Radio (KUNR-FM) in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Morning Edition Host with strong journalism skills to add to our expanding news presence.
The Morning Edition Host for KUNR at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) performs two main functions. First, the position hosts the Morning Edition shift in morning drive time (live Monday-Friday 5 am to 9 am) producing live local newscasts and reading underwriting messaging and station promotions. Second, the position creates original radio news stories and community segments (research, interviews, writing, voicing). In addition to daily original stories, this position is assigned to the lengthier in-depth reports as needed and helps produce other content for the station. The Morning Edition Host reports to the KUNR Content Director.
