WDSE/WRPT Public Television, licensed to the Duluth-Superior Area Educational Television Corporation, seeks a dedicated leader to continue their mission of providing media and services for the public good.

With significant input from the staff, the Board of WDSE has developed the profile of its ideal leader. The Duluth-Superior Area Educational Television Corporation is the community licensee of full-power CPB qualified PBS member stations WDSE (Duluth) and WRPT (Hibbing). Serving the Arrowhead and Iron Range of Northeastern Minnesota, Northwestern Wisconsin, and the western tip of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the organization has provided an unduplicated public television service in the Duluth-Superior DMA since 1964. A legacy of local production, from long running viewer call-in programs to award-winning historical documentaries, has earned the stations a strong base of member support.

Mindful of its educational roots, many local productions are offered for classroom use and supplemented with online teacher guides. About Duluth and our region

Local brewing is huge, there are over fifty restaurants in the downtown area alone, and the Canal Park area along the waterfront boasts fabulous shops, dining, and outdoor experiences. The arts scene includes the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra, the Minnesota Ballet, the Lyric Opera of the North, the Duluth Playhouse, the Duluth Art Institute, the University of Minnesota-Duluth’s Tweed Museum, and the Karpeles Museum.
