Artist Anthology: Contemporary Creatives of the Pacific Northwest is a bold expansion of All Classical Portland’s mission to build and sustain culturally vibrant local and global communities. Transcending core radio programming, Anthology is a curated collection of this region’s brightest artists of all media – poetry, photography, dance, painting, sculpture, and more – written by local authors, documented by local photographers, and compiled and published by All Classical Portland. A key goal of the anthology is to engage, employ, and feature creatives that represent the diverse communities of our region, focusing on representation of many heritages, experiences, art forms, and perspectives. To help achieve this goal, over half of all creatives contracted and profiled for the Artist Anthology (authors, photographers, and artists) will be members of underrepresented communities.

We’re looking for an organized and charismatic project manager to oversee a community panel; interface with artists, authors, and photographers; carefully review and edit submitted articles; and manage digital publication of the article series. The project manager/editor is a dynamic collaborator, working with multiple departments within All Classical Portland as well as creative community members throughout our region. The ideal candidate is integrated in the arts community of Oregon and Southwest Washington, and passionate about equity and accessibility in the arts.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development, recruiting, and meeting schedule of Artist Anthology community panel
• Coordinate with writers and photographers to create artist profiles, serving as a liaison between contracted contributors, selected artists, and All Classical Portland
• Participate in regular meetings with community panel and All Classical Portland staff
• Edit and compile written profiles and photographs to create a cohesive article series
• Review and revise written Anthology, and, following All Classical Portland approval of content, publish to web using WordPress
• Collaborate with Marketing to publicize Artist Anthology, maintain publishing schedule, and reach target engagement goals

Required Qualifications:
• Education and background in writing and editing (bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Project management experience
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and content expectations
• Excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Proven integrated network and record of involvement in regional arts community
• Strong ability to communicate with and organize diverse groups of individuals, interfacing closely with All Classical Portland staff and community members
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively under deadline pressure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Dropbox
• Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and ethical communication

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with WordPress or similar systems
• Experience editing and/or producing a publication
• Experience with photography and/or visual art
• Experience with Basecamp or similar project management software
• Interest in and commitment to the core values of public service media
• Knowledge of regional creatives
