Iowa Public Radio is looking for a human resources professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join our organization. The Talent & Culture Manager is responsible for the administration and management of all human resources functions for approximately 60 employees in multiple locations and will be a leader in executing IPR’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. In addition, this individual is responsible for recruitment, employee relations and development, salary & benefits administration and building a thriving work culture across the organization.

PAY RANGE:

  • $57,734 – $88,494

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field or equivalent work experience;
  • Five years’ experience of human resources management including recruiting, employee relations and development and overall human resources administration;
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable federal, state and local employment laws and regulations; and
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification;
  • Experience designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs covering performance management, talent development and succession planning; and
  • Experience bringing together and elevating celebrated unique experiences in order to build a positive and productive work environment.
