J.R Rudolph joined WFYI Public Media in October 2022 as an Engagement Marketing Specialist in Indianapolis, IN. J.R leads the BIPOC ERG and is a participant in the LGBTQ+ ERG space and hold a position on the IDE Board for WFYI Public Media. The purpose of the Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Committee is to advance and support the efforts of Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Media, Inc to become an organization in which equity underpins every aspect of its work. The committee’s focus is on exploring how the board and staff can mobilize people, resources and ideas to address issues of inequity impacting Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Media, Inc and the communities we serve. 

J.R is the 2023 Public Media for All Development Award recipient. 

Before coming to WFYI Public Media, J.R served as Marketing and Development Promotions Associate for WSKG Public Media in Vestal, NY. 

J.R holds a bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in Communication and Psychology from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, OH. In J.R’s free time he enjoys teaching swimming and water safety classes at the nearest YMCA and cooking for his family. J.R is on the Alumni Engagement board at Baldwin Wallace University.
