Description
WFSU Public Media in Tallahassee, FL is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist. This position reports directly to the WFSU Accounting Supervisor and is responsible for managing invoices, reconciling financial information, managing daily revenue, managing accounts receivable activity, financial reporting and oversight of funding accounts at WFSU. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and two years of applicable experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years; experience with accounting systems and practices; experience compiling, reviewing and reconciling data; experience with Microsoft Office Products; experience prioritizing, organizing and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously. Strong computer skills and a Degree in Accounting are preferred. Successful completion of a background check is required. Salary range is Low to High 30’s.
