All Classical Portland seeks a dynamic, results-oriented Corporate Support Account Assistant with a proven record of building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients throughout the entire sales cycle. The ideal candidate must possess proven business development and sales experience and be a self-starter that can work with clients to meet marketing objectives and sell the value of All Classical Portland sponsorship. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of CRM systems and the ability to effectively maintain and use the data within the system.

All Classical Portland is one of America’s top classical music radio stations, broadcasting from the heart of the Pacific Northwest. The station serves over a quarter of a million local listeners in Oregon and SW Washington weekly and millions of listeners worldwide via mobile app and online streaming. Job Description

  • Maintain accurate records of all client servicing and prospect activities in CRM database
  • Prepare and maintain accurate client contracts and correspondence from CRM
  • Prepare sales activities reports, client sales activity and revenue reports from CRM and financials
  • Provide accurate and timely traffic and on-air copy production orders, and other reports as needed
  • Enter contracts and schedules in Radio Traffic system
  • Prepare and submit copy orders and monitor credit production as well as client invoices and statements
  • Abide by and uphold All Classical Portland underwriting policy, FCC, and station copy guidelines
  • Assist with account collections; track financials and receivables, and collection in collaboration with Finance
  • Research and prepare sponsorship presentation and marketing materials
  • Assist in the identification and service of sponsors for local and national content on All Classical Portland
  • Manage assigned corporate sponsorship accounts
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with sponsors and prospects, and colleagues
  • Prepare current listings of ACP program underwriting availabilities
  • Prepare and maintain current sponsor list for all ACP Marketing and Development needs
  • Participate in on-air pledge drives and other ACP Development fund-raising projects as assigned
  • Create and maintain web assets for underwriting clients including spotlights, logos, and event entry
  • Serve as a liaison between Corporate Support and other departments to ensure interdepartmental teamwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple tasks and clients with timely and appropriate prioritization and goal attainment
  • Ability to write and present in a professional and motivating manner with a keen eye for details to ensure accurate and appropriate written communication, no matter the format used
  • Strong communications skills and confidence to convey All Classical Portland’s value and importance
  • Sharp analytical skills, research, and data literacy to formulate successful selling strategies
  • Ability to craft strategic and persuasive sponsorship sales and marketing materials
  • A fundamental belief in and ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ability and willingness to accept and understand rules and procedures
  • Accountability to function independently and productively off site
  • Capacity to thrive in a deadline focused environment; flexibility to work productively in a team
  • Readily build and maintain positive relationships with sponsors and colleagues
  • Strong PC computer skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Drive, and Dropbox and CRM software, and has the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Adept with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook etc.
  • Skillful tech problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for mastering new technologies
  • Work with All Classical Portland’s fundraising and marketing team as needed
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance at work
  • Work in a busy office environment with interruptions
  • Work on a computer for an extended period of time throughout the day

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree, minimum (2) years of customer service and work experience in business and general office environment
  • Sales experience a plus. Demonstrated ability to service clients with exceptional account management
  • Ability to work with diverse constituencies
  • Interest in and commitment to the core values of public service media
  • Knowledge, love of, and excitement for classical music and the arts
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively under deadline pressure
  • Proven business acumen and intellectual curiosity, creativity, reliability, and rigor

Pay is competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience.
