Job Description Summary
The Digital Marketing Content Producer works closely with WXPN’s Marketing and Digital teams, playing an integral role in promoting WXPN and its programs and events through engaging interactive content across digital platforms. S/he supervisors one or more student workers.

Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and engaging with stakeholders across the station, the Digital Marketing Content Producer will be an important voice in the development and ongoing execution of the station’s digital strategy and is responsible for publishing and maintaining up-to-date non-editorial content including marketing/promotional copy, XPN-produced event copy, etc. across all digital platforms.

Additionally, this position supports, collaborates with, and provides ongoing feedback to Digital and Programming teams regarding content schedules, editorial standards, brand standards, and workflow protocols to ensure consistency of content and a powerful UX for all.

The role will be best served by an individual with a passion for digital storytelling, production experience, a keen editorial sense, and an ability to bring focus to activities that dynamically realize WXPN’s mission of connecting artists and audiences and present a cohesive voice. It is essential that the DMCP shares WXPN’s vision that digital networks are not merely spaces to communicate with listeners, but rather vibrant platforms in and of themselves on which to experience music and community.
Ideal candidates but have a BA/BS and 3 to 5 years minimum experience producing content for digital platforms. Must be an experienced user of FB/Twitter and Instagram. Some experience with data and analytics required. Experience working with WordPress and email clients like MailChimp or Pardot required. Video editing experience a plus.

Must show demonstrated skills and/or understanding of:
• Copywriting for digital platforms (web/social)
• CMS tagging and categorizing content
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Collaborating with teams
• Brand and editorial guideline adherence
• Proven understanding of effective UX design/information architecture
• Understanding of digital content strategy
