Position Summary:
The Lead Generation Producer is responsible for customizing and implementing an automated sales marketing program. This includes setting up, maintaining and growing a systematic and automated approach to marketing and communicating with potential and current sponsors in order to assist account executives to secure sponsorship dollars for American Public Media National programs,Minnesota Public Radio stations, and Digital properties. This position will focus sales and marketing activities around an ideal set of accounts resulting in increased pipeline, higher quality leads, more appointments and ultimately increased bookings and revenues.

Position Responsibility:
- Work closely with Director(s) to develop and execute the automated marketing strategy, including structuring of a marketing calendar, communication content plan, and list development.
- Work with Sales Project Coordinator to find new prospects to add to the targeting lists.
- Active participation in strategy design for email content, templates, forms, landing pages and other vehicles.
- Report development for ongoing and timely reporting on campaign ROI metrics, including the tracking of email “opens”, appointments, resulting orders and revenue generated.
- Oversee the sales teams with the establishment and maintenance of accurate and current records in Salesforce, including account and client contact information, as well current and pending business opportunities thus ensuring data quality in Salesforce, supporting efforts of data loading, record de-duplication and related tasks.
- Customize Salesforce to accommodate the company’s changing business needs including, documentation of business requirements, active participation in design/functionality sessions and driving configuration changes as required to support the end users of Salesforce on the sales teams.
- Leverage new enhancements including custom objects, workflows, email alerts and templates and campaigns for continued improvement resulting in more appointments and increased sales.
- Develop 1-to-many templates and engagement framework materials with marketing to be tailored and customized with content by Sales for use in outbound Prospecting and Nurturing efforts.
- Ensure timely execution of planned email marketing campaigns.
- Document processes and best practices.
- Conduct user training and assist in effective training of content creation.
- Some client or prospect interaction.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant broadcasting or other media or marketing experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Hands-on experience with automated marketing tool such as Eloqua or SFMC (SFMC preferred)
- Experience with CRM contact management and segmentation with enterprise platform like Salesforce.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Strong Excel knowledge and third party import/export data integration functionality.

- Strong knowledge of general marketing principals.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the sales cycle and understanding of client focused communications.
- Knowledge of email best practices and regulations, e.g. CAN-SPAM
- Familiarity with digital production techniques including HTML, CSS and responsive design principles.
- Previous sales or sales support experience.
- Knowledge of American Public Media’s products.

- Must have a valid, current driver’s license.
