Production Manager

Description

The Production Manager serves as the manager of content creators for WKU, WKU Public Media, and outside clients. This individual capable of adapting to multiple storytelling environments and demonstrates agility in creative leadership.  This position will facilitate and participate as a team leader with a wide variety of broadcast and digital content producers from start to finish.  Technical ability required in this position is high and will include significant production challenges and troubleshooting.  Position should be able to step in to any production situation to provide assistance and/or support.  Position will also have discretionary pick over project assignments based on availability of personnel assets and equipment. Position works in collaborative environment with others and serves as a contributor to student development and success.  Additionally, the position is responsible for outreach as needed by the station. This position contributes to on-air fundraising efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• At least five years experience in a wide variety of broadcast and digital content productions from start to finish,
• At least three years experience managing a team of content creators,
• Ability to lift Up to 50 lbs,
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
