Summary
As the Corporate Underwriting Assistant, you will support the Corporate Underwriting team with a primary focus on supporting digital sales efforts and digital process management as well as manage smaller non-profit underwriting partners. A successful Underwriting Assistant is self-motivated, organized and exemplifies a professional sales environment. In managing digital sales efforts, you will support and maintain the current digital sales platform plus be a proactive resource in growing digital underwriting opportunities including podcast and on-demand content.
Required Education and Experience:
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public broadcasting or commercial media
- Thorough understanding of office automation software and willingness to master DFP and other digital scheduling programs
- Professional appearance and experience dealing with clients
- Marketing/Advertising/Fund-raising experience
- Persuasive communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Engaged in all aspects of the public radio, non-profit culture, and community
Position responsibilities:
- Manage the scheduling, recapping and reporting for web-based underwriting campaigns, online audio underwriting and podcast sponsorships
- Collaborate with content to facilitate the monetization of on-demand/podcast underwriting opportunities
- Management of $1k< accounts
- Maintains CPRN affiliate list and ensures all affiliation agreements are updated
- Ensures fulfillment affidavits are received from CPRN affiliates
- Supports the underwriting team with presentation preparation
- Supports the UW team with aging invoicing and billing
- Provides administrative support to the Community Relations and Events Manager in matters concerning the CapRadio Garden
