Description

As the Program Assistant, you will perform a variety of complex and unique duties associated with public media programs involving membership relations, administration and gift accounting for Northwest Public Broadcasting (NWPB). These duties include but are not limited to assisting the principles in the areas of membership, outreach, and major donors relation with the administration, and cooordination in functions such as: quantitative and qualitative reporting; membership data entry; member and listener correspondence; customer service for members, donors, listeners, viewers and the general public; special event planning support; donation data entry; cash handling; and purchasing.

Monthly Salary: $3,239 to $4,299 | Range 37 | Steps A – M

Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Customer service experience which included telephone or reception duties.
