Identify and master the mid-level giving tactics that are creating significant revenue growth for public media organizations right now.
Mid-level giving (often known in public media as gift clubs, leadership circles, or leadership giving) is where public media organizations are generating some of the greatest revenue growth right now, yet many organizations don’t have the tools and structure needed to fully optimize their mid-level efforts.
Mid-level donors need more than the transactional benefits of membership, but aren’t at the level of needing the kind of 1-to-1 relationship found in major giving.
Without a focused mid-level approach, your organization will struggle to retain your donors and donor giving, fewer donors will move into major gifts, and fundraisers will miss out on valuable revenue, which leaves them feeling overworked and unsuccessful.
Greater Public and Veritus Group are now offering the Certification Course in Mid-Level Fundraising, a comprehensive online training that helps all individual giving fundraisers implement a system and structure that is proven to be successful in mid-level giving for public media.
This multimedia experience includes 8 modules of the best tools and strategies for setting up, executing, and managing a mid-level caseload. You’ll master how to properly move donors in and out of mid-level and efficiently manage your caseload, ultimately increasing net revenue for the organization.
Registration for the Fall 2023 session is now closed. Please check back for information about future sessions.

Yes! Participants will receive 36 CFRE points upon successful completion of this certification course.
No, there is no group work in this mid-level course unless you attend with a group from your organization. Then it would benefit you to meet as a group to discuss learnings, process tools and strategies, and support each other. However, this is not a requirement of the course. There are individual assessments required to complete the course and earn your 36 CFRE hours.
We highly recommend you join us on live calls to enhance what you’re learning, connect with other professionals, and gain new ideas and resources. However, you are not required to attend every live call to graduate. And, if your schedule conflicts with a call, recordings of the call will be available for you to listen to.
We have set up the course with that in mind. You complete the coursework at your own pace over about 3 months. As soon as you finish one module and hand in your application assignment, you have access to the next, so you could choose to work ahead or catch up later. The only thing you may miss are live conversations during the weeks you are on vacation (though you are free to join), and the learning calls are always recorded and available to participants after the fact.
The course itself will be available to you online at any time during the three-month period you’re enrolled, so coordination amongst time zones isn’t necessary. Each module can be completed in 3-5 hours, with additional time for recommended participation in group calls, community discussions, and individual planning. Our live conversations will also be scheduled as best we can to accommodate many different time zones, and recordings of those calls will be available to participants afterward.
