Webinar: Learn about the Public Media Bridge Fund

The loss of federal funding is creating immense challenges for local public media organizations throughout the country, putting services in rural and underserved areas especially at risk.

In response, Public Media Company has launched the Public Media Bridge Fund, a pooled philanthropic initiative that will provide grants, low-interest loans, and advisory services to at-risk local public media organizations. The Fund will prioritize organizations in local communities that are most at risk of losing their public media service.

This fund is not a replacement of CPB funding. Rather, it aims to guide the public media system through this federal funding crisis toward a more sustainable future that includes more collaborative and sustainable operating models.

Learn the crucial next steps for your organization.

Join Tim Isbitt, CEO of Public Media Company, and Erik Langer, Executive Director of the Public Media Bridge Fund, for a detailed presentation. They will walk through the full initiative, specific eligibility requirements for its initial phase of support, and how your station can apply for assistance. We’ll dedicate plenty of time for questions to ensure your team has the practical information you need to understand this support toward long-term community sustainability.
