Music and social good has been a consistent thread woven throughout Genevieve’s personal and professional life. Her early career consisted of artist relations and concert production not only for the iconic Denver non-profit, Swallow Hill Music, but with some of the largest production companies in the country including C3 Presents with Austin City Limits and South by Southwest. With a large amount of industry experience under her belt, she started to focus beyond the industry on public funding mechanisms for music. She went on to obtain her Masters in Musicology at the University of Manchester, England with her thesis concentrated on the impact of public funding on independent musician careers.

For the past five years Genevieve has delved into development and funding for local music non-profits and is passionate about seeing musicians and musical ecosystems thrive. Currently at Rocky Mountain Public Media, she is the Cultural Fundraising and Fundraising Communications Manager with a majority of her responsibilities focused on the membership programs for the organization’s two, music format radio stations, KUVO JAZZ and THE DROP.
