Many listeners are not commuting to work as often as they used to, if at all, and consequently many public radio fans aren’t listening as often as they used to. Less listening translates into less giving.

Though Public TV fared better during the quarantine, thanks in large part to Passport, as the quarantine ended, audiences and donors resumed their downward pre-pandemic trends.
